Carapace Lunga Attesa Montefalco Sagrantino 2017 DOCG is a ‘Platinum’ medal winner at The Wine Hunter Award 2024

The Wine Hunter Award, the prize linked to Helmut Köcher, President and founder of the Merano Wine Festival, which evaluates wines, beers, spirits and culinary products every year, awarded the Carapace Lunga Attesa 2017 the Platinum medal; the highest accolade attributed to wines that scored between 96 and 100 points.
The prize was awarded not only for the wine’s extraordinary quality and high technical competence, but also for its ability to capture the essence of the land where it is born, sharing stories and emotions.
Carapace Lunga Attesa, an oenological jewel of Tenute Lunelli, is made from only Sagrantino grapes carefully selected from a single vineyard on the Umbrian estate of Castelbuono. Subjected to triple vinification, in steel, wood and terracotta, and prolonged ageing, this wine expresses a unique aromatic complexity, the result of careful processing and patient ageing.
